This June, Prague's Lucerna transforms into the enchanting world of Viennese balls. On 16 and 17 June 2026, the Vienna Strauss Gala — an exceptional concert project bringing the very best of Johann Strauss' music performed by a top orchestra — takes the stage.
Audiences can look forward to an unforgettable evening full of the most famous waltzes, polonaises and overtures that defined a musical era. Iconic compositions such as 'The Blue Danube', the 'Emperor Waltz' and other immortal melodies that still symbolise elegance, romance and joie de vivre will all sound that night.
The Vienna Strauss Gala is not just a concert but a true social event. It combines virtuoso orchestral performance with a visually striking atmosphere that takes the audience back to the golden age of imperial Vienna. The Grand Hall of Lucerna will turn into a space full of nobility, music and emotion for two evenings.
